119While justification by faith is fundamental to Paul’s outlook, it does not exhaust his message. Paulinism should not be equated so exclusively with the emphasis of Galatians and Romans that the corporate and cosmic insights of Colossians and Ephesians are felt to be non-Pauline. There is room in true Paulinism for both, and a gospel which does not make room for both will be lopsided and defective. See O. A. Dilschneider, Das christliche Weltbild (Gütersloh, 1951).
