Luke

Introduction

Luke writes an orderly account for Theophilus, stressing the poor, women, prayer, the Spirit, and joy. The travel narrative toward Jerusalem is long and rich with parables. Luke continues the story in Acts. This Gospel shows a Savior for all kinds of people.
