Introduction

2 Chronicles follows the temple and the kings of Judah from Solomon to the exile and the decree of Cyrus. Reformers such as Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah, and Josiah receive special attention. The book insists that seeking the Lord brings help, and abandoning him brings loss. It ends with a door open toward return.
