Isaiah

Introduction

Isaiah spans judgment and comfort: the Holy One confronts Judah, promises a remnant, and announces a servant and a coming king. Chapters 40–55 lift exiles with “comfort, comfort my people.” The book is large because God’s holiness and mercy are both large. Return to the passages that name the Messiah and the new creation.
