Ecclesiastes tests the meaning of life “under the sun.” Work, pleasure, wisdom, and wealth all fail as final answers. The Teacher still commends enjoying simple gifts and fearing God. The book is a honest companion for restless seasons and a warning against living as if this age were everything.
