Introduction
Joshua recounts the entry into Canaan, the fall of Jericho, the long campaign, and the allotment of the land. God fights for Israel, yet Achan’s sin and the Gibeonite treaty show that obedience still matters. The book ends with a charge to serve the Lord. Read it as a story of promised rest that still requires courage and faithfulness.
