About this book
Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church Constitution · ఆంధ్ర ఎవాంజెలికల్ లూథరన్ చర్చి రాజ్యాంగము
The Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church, registered under the Societies Registration Act on 21 April 1932 with its headquarters at Guntur, grew out of the Lutheran mission work begun at Guntur and Rajahmundry in the nineteenth century. This web book presents the Church's governing documents as reprinted in 1990: the Memorandum of Association (Part I), the Rules of Association (Constitution) with its Preamble and sixteen Articles (Part II), the By-Laws of the A.E.L. Church (Part III), and the Constitution and By-Laws for the Synods and for Parishes. Errata and later approved amendments were incorporated in the 1990 reprint, as the printed Contents page notes.
The text was read from the scanned 1990 reprint and is shown page by page with the original page numbers; every page can be compared with its original scan. The wording, numbering and headings follow the printed source without modernisation.
Language: English — the 1990 reprint is printed in English; the Church's Telugu name, ఆంధ్ర ఎవాంజెలికల్ లూథరన్ చర్చి రాజ్యాంగము, is given for identification.
