Article V. Membership

The membership of each of these synods shall consist of the congregations lying within their respective boundaries, including ministers-assigned to each of these synods by the Andhra Evange. lical Lutheran Church. -

Article VI. Conventions

Sec. 1. & Avegular convention of each synod shall be held afinually at the time specified in the by:taws as determined by the Executive Council of the Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church,

b. The agenda.and Programme for all conventions of the synods shall be determined by the executive committee of the synod, At the time of thé convention other matters may be brought before the convention with the consent of three-fourths of the delegates present.

c. The executive committee may, on its own decision, and must, upon the written application of one-third- of the delegates, ajrangs for a special convention. Lpon such decision, thesyned president shall call for a special convention; At such a speciaj convention the delegdtes shall be the delegates to the most tecent regular convention, provided that they have not been disqualified or replaced.

At such a spacial convention no husiness shall ba. brought before the convention other than that specified

in the notice of the meeting, except with the consent of three-fourths of the delegates present.

Sec. 2. Notice of the time and place of the conventions shall be given to all delegates by the president at least four weeks in advance for regular conventions, and at least two weeks in advance for special conventions. Postal certificate of posting, or acknowledgement of local delivery of such notice, shall constitute adequate proof of notice, and failure of delegates to receive such proven notice shall not invalidate the proceedings of any canvention.

Sec. 3. All conventions of. these synods shall be composed of ordained and lay delegates as provided for in the by-laws.

Sec. 4. One-half of the total number of delegates on the approved roll shall constitute a quorum.:

Sec. 5. a. At the convention of each synod at which elections are to take place, the delegates shall give attention to the reading of Timothy 3: 1-7 and Titus 1: 5-9 and shajl then spend some time in prayer for the guidance of God in the matter before them.

b. Then shall follow the.declaration set forth in the bylaws Art.-1l; Sec, 5,
