ఆత్మీయ లోకపు దర్శనములు అను ఈ చిన్న గ్రంథములో భారతీయ సువార్తికుడును సన్యాసియునైన సాధు సుందర్ సింగ్, మరణమునకు ఆవలి లోకమును గూర్చి తనకు పదేపదే కలిగిన దర్శనములను ఏడు అధ్యాయములలో వ్రాసెను. మరణ ఘడియ, ఆత్మల లోకము, పశ్చాత్తాపపడని పాపుల తీర్పు, క్రీస్తు సన్నిధిలో నీతిమంతుల ఆనందము—ఇవియే ఇందలి ముఖ్య విషయములు. దేవదూతలతోను పరిశుద్ధులతోను జరిగిన సంభాషణల రూపములో ఉన్నను, ఇది వ్యవస్థీకృత సిద్ధాంత గ్రంథము కాదు; భక్తి ధ్యానము. తాను పొందిన బోధ ఇతరులకు ఆలస్యము కాకూడదని అతడు తన ప్రస్తావనలో చెప్పెను.

    About Sadhu Sundar Singh

    Sadhu Sundar Singh (1889 – disappeared 1929) was an Indian Christian evangelist and ascetic. Born into a Sikh family in Punjab, he experienced a vision of Christ as a teenager that led to his conversion, after which he adopted the saffron robe of a Hindu “sadhu” (holy man) as a sign that following Christ did not require abandoning his Indian identity. He travelled widely as an itinerant preacher across India, Tibet and other parts of Asia and the West, becoming known for his simple, story-based style of teaching. Visions of the Spiritual World (1926) was written at Subathu and translated from his original Urdu by the Rev. T. E. Riddle. Three years later, in 1929, Singh set out on a journey into Tibet and was never seen again; he is presumed to have died on that journey.
