What this chapter says
Reflecting on the believer’s inheritance that can “never perish, spoil or fade,” Tozer marvels that God has made ordinary Christians beneficiaries of limitless, eternal riches. He observes that God’s dealings with His people rarely end with a full stop — election leads to begetting, begetting to hope, hope onward toward the inheritance still to come — so no believer can claim to have “arrived.” Because the gift matches the infinite character of the Giver, Tozer says, the Christian’s true wealth dwarfs anything this world could leave behind in a will.
