How the Office Is to Be Said during the Summer Season
FROM Easter till the calends of November let the same number of psalms be recited in the manner described above, except that on account of the shortness of the nights, no lessons should be read from the book. In place of these three lessons, let one from the Old Testament be said by heart. Let a short responsory follow this, and let all the rest be performed as was stated; namely, that never fewer than twelve psalms be said at the night Office, exclusive of the 3rd and the 94th psalm.
