THE GREATEST MOMENT of your life can be when everything seems finished for you. That is the moment when you lay your weak hand in the strong hand of Jesus. For Jesus can make life and death—present and future—victorious! He can give you eternal life; not only life in heaven, but life right now.
It is as when you have fallen in the sea and you think: Now I will surely drown. I can swim perhaps an hour, but then I will sink! A lifeline is the only thing that can help you then.
I found that when you are drowning in the terrific misery of the world, Jesus is everything for you—your only lifeline. When you think you have lost everything, then you can be found by Jesus Christ.
He died for you. He lives for you, and He loves you more than any human being can love. I have told people about Him for thirty-three years, in sixty-four countries, and in all that time nobody has ever told me he was sorry he asked Jesus to come into his life. You won't be sorry, either.
