Grace to You
f there was any delay to the work of Word of Grace (tape
ministry) and Grace to You (radio and publishing) in the
'volatile years' at the beginning of the 1990s, it was only tem-
porary, and both agencies were to surge forward in the follow-
ing decade. Until 1985, the two ministries had operated from
separate locations, the tape ministry from premises in North
Hollywood, and Grace to You in a smaller building a quarter
of a mile away. The two agencies naturally supported and com-
plemented one other, so union was inevitable. In 1985, the two
ministries formally merged and came together in a rented facil-
ity just one block from runway's end near the Burbank airport. A special soundproof recording studio was built to deal with the
problem of air traffic, but within a few years, the ministry had
outgrown this facility and another move was necessary.
In 1990 Grace to You moved to a more suitable rented facility
in a business park in the suburb of Santa Clarita. The building,
designed to house five small businesses, had just the right ratio
of warehouse space to office space, and doors were cut between
the sections to accommodate easier movement from one bay
