33. Letter Dxxx.
LETTER DXXX.
T o Mr. J―― S――.
Bristol, July 27, 1743.
My dear Friend, ON Friday night I reached Gloucester, where I received your kind and animating letter. On Saturday I came hither. Yesterday was an high day: I preached four times in the fields, and the congregations were as large as at the beginning: blessed seasons indeed! Here are people from all quarters. I am just going out to preach again, and therefore can only add, that perhaps I may set out for Exeter on Wednesday, from whence you may expect to hear again, from Yours, &c.
G. W.
