LEON MORRIS retired as principal of Ridley College, Melbourne, Australia, in 1979. Revision editor of the TYNDALE NEW TESTAMENT COMMENTARIES, he is the author of more than forty books, including The Epistle to the Romans and The Gospel according to Matthew, both now part of the PILLAR NEW TESTAMENT Commentary series, and the volume on the Thessalonian epistles in the NICNT series.
