Description
Finney's plain, direct, conversational revival preaching, pressing the claims of God's grace on the hearer's conscience and will. The twenty-one sermons range across the Christian's rule of life, hardening the heart, the infinite worth of the soul, quenching the Spirit, little sins, the rationality of faith, and the reward of fervent prayer, among other themes.
