LETTER MCCCXCII.
T o Mr. R―― K――n.
Trevekka, August 26, 1768.
My dear Friend, I HAVE had the return of my old disorder; but blessed be God, I am strengthened to preach the unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ. We reached
Gloucester on Monday, and came hither on Wednesday afternoon. All we have met with exceeds description. Early next Monday I purpose to set off for Bristol, and soon after shall return to London. Brethren, pray for us. I believe you do; for God is with us of a truth. I hope you and yours are supported. The Redeemer is a present help in every time of need. Cordial respects await all that love him in sincerity. Mr. L――d and a Londonner left us to-day. I hope Mr. P――d and B――s make all possible dispatch.
God send dear Mr. H――y a good passage and safe return! Amen! Amen!
Lord, quicken my tardy pace!
Ever yours, &c. in Jesus, G. W.
