About this book

Twelve Sermons on Soul Winning

This Fleming H. Revell volume gathers twelve sermons Charles H. Spurgeon preached at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, Newington. In a short note “The Author to the Reader,” Spurgeon says friends often asked which of his printed discourses they could distribute with the greatest hope of doing good. He therefore chose twelve from the sixteen hundred and sixty sermons then in print — sermons already used, he writes, by the Holy Spirit to lead many to Jesus. The collection is concerned with Christian evangelism, conversion, preaching, and winning souls: coming to Christ, personal salvation, faith, grace, the atonement, and simple trust in the Saviour.
