Part 2: Christ the Redeemer
We still live in a fallen world. But Christ has already struck the decisive blow. The cross was the turning point. The kingdom of darkness is now retreating. Satan knows his time is short, and he will make one last desperate stand (Rev. 12). But in the end, Christ will return, cast the devil into the lake of fire, and make all things new.
"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet." — Romans 16:20
Encouragement for Today Be alert, but not afraid. The devil is real, but he is not God.
Stand firm in Christ. You are no longer in the domain of darkness but have been transferred into the kingdom of the Son
(Col. 1:13).
Resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7).
Cling to Christ, who has overcome the world, conquered the grave, and broken the power of the evil one.
"Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." —1
John 4:4
