Foreword As a young person I learned many lessons about the lifestyle of a leader through the life and writings of John Stott. It is amazing how many of those lessons I am still using after almost four decades of ministry. This book has many such lessons that a young Christian leader can glean to help him or her become a biblical leader.
I read this book slowly as a part of my devotional reading. As few books have done to me, I found my heart burning with things God was teaching me as I read. Often I had to stop to pray.
There are challenges to leaders about commitment to Christ, to people, to personal discipline, and to several other things that make people good leaders. There is also much wisdom on how one leads effectively.
