ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The author desires to acknowledge his gratitude to the Keswick Council for inviting him to give the Bible Readings on Romans 5—8 at the Keswick Convention in July 1965, and in particular to Canon A. T. Houghton, Chairman of the Council, for his personal encouragement. It was a great inspiration to be allowed to expound the Word of God to about 5,000 people for a whole hour on four successive mornings in the big tent. The text of the Bible Readings given then, which appeared in The Life of Faith in the weeks following the Convention, has here been somewhat amplified for publication.
