someone. Even when Peter and John were there, I believe that the Lord was also there. They sim ply did not recognize Him, and the Lord did not reveal Himself to them. Do you realize that at this very moment the Lord is here, but we do not realize it and it has not been revealed?

In this chapter it is quite evident that there are three kinds of disciples. The first kind is rep resented by Mary, the second by Peter and John, and the third by the lazy ones. The lazy disciples had no revelation or discovery of the Lord's res urrection. Peter and John had the discovery and the revelation but not the experience. Mary had the discovery, the revelation, and the experience. What is shown in this record is also true of Chris tians today. This record reveals the accomplished fact of Christ's resurrection, but the discovery of His resurrection still requires our seeking, and the experience of His resurrection demands even further seeking. In other words, the revelation de pends upon our seeking, and the experience depends upon our further seeking. We must first seek the Lord before we can discover His resur rection, and we must seek the Lord even more before we can experience His resurrection.

The resurrection of Christ was not only dis covered by the seeking ones but also testified to

by the angels sent from God (John 20:11-13). When Mary looked into the tomb, she saw "two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain" (20:12). These two angels were like the cher ubim on the propitiation cover, watching and observing how the glorious Lord, who is the resurrection, carried out the wonderful task of walking away from the threatening of death. These two observing angels became the strong est witness that the Lord Jesus had resurrected. As the linen cloths and the napkin were the tes timony from man's side, the angels were the testimony from God's side. All these were seen only by a sister who sought the Lord.
