UECF Christian Digital Library — Statistics
How many free Christian books UECF.NET holds, and exactly how they are counted. These numbers are generated from the library catalog; nothing on this page is typed by hand.
A title is counted once in the unique-title total regardless of whether it is available as a web book, PDF, audiobook, or in multiple languages. Format and language figures are therefore larger than their sum suggests: one book with an English web book, a Telugu PDF and a Hindi edition counts once as a title and once in each of English, Telugu, Hindi, Web Books and PDF Editions.

Titles by category
A title can belong to more than one category.
How the counting works
- Catalog record — one entry in the library catalog (1255 today).
- A second scan or edition of a text that already has a record is marked as an edition of it and is not counted again (12 such records); copies proved identical are unlisted (5).
- What remains are the listed works (1238) — what every shelf, collection and search result shows.
- Listed works whose title and author match are one unique title (1228). This is the number on the library home page.
- Web book, PDF, audiobook and language figures count how many listed works have at least one edition of that kind; they overlap by design.
Rights: a book is promoted and indexed only when its copyright status is documented (Public Domain, UECF Original or Permission Granted); 716 titles are public domain.
