The bright side of judgment is that the righteous shall go

unalterable state. It can neither be thought that sinners should change their own natures, nor that God should give His grace to change them, when in this world the day of grace was misspent, the Spirit of grace resisted, and the means of grace abused and baffled.

7. ETERNAL GLORY The bright side of judgment is that the righteous shall go away ''into life eternal". They shall inherit the kingdom. The life of the soul results from its union with God, by the mediation of Jesus Christ, as that of the body from its union with the soul, by the animal spirits. The heavenly life consists in the vision and fruition of God, in perfect conformity to Him, and an immediate uninterrupted communion with Him. There is no death to put a period to this life, nor old age to put a period to the comfort of it, nor any sorrow to embitter it.

Thus life and death, good and evil, the blessing and the curse, are set before us, that we may choose our way, and so shall our end be.
