Fortieth Mountain Peak
"For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I wilt extend peace O her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies." Isaiah 66:12—14
FINALLY with the last mountain peak our peace and joy will be completed. All our sufferings will be forgotten and we shall be given abundant reward for all past sufferings and hardship. Our peace shall be like a river and the glory of God will be flowing as a stream.
As a mother comforteth her child so shall we forget all our sorrows and every suffering will be fully compensated at that time (Rom. 8:!7, 18). Surely then, even upon the earth we may ride upon heavenly places, for we arc formed to be His everlasting possession, and all these glorious purposes will be fully accomplished as we accept and obey Him.
