THE CROSS OF CALVARY Note:The following summary of texts showing the difference between the experimental application of the 'Cross' and the 'Blood' to the believer, is given to make clear that when the Word speaks of one it does not mean the other.
I. The Place of Sin - bearing by the Substitute. 1. He "bare our sins . . . on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. . . ." (I Peter 2:24) 2.The Place of Reconciliation "Reconciled by His death. . . ." (Rom. 5:10) II. The Place of the 'sinner' crucified. I.
