About the Compilers

Andrea Kirk Assaf first fell in love with the work of C. S. Lewis when she spent a summer indoors with mononucleosis at the age of thirteen. Wandering through the world of Narnia was a wonderful compensation, and the imagery and beautiful truths found in the pages of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader remain fresh in her mind to this day. Andrea is a writer and editor who splits her year between a farm in Remus, Michigan, U.S.A. and the Eternal City of Rome, with her husband and their four children. She is also the author of Pope Francis’ Little Book of Wisdom, Pope Francis’ Little Book of Compassion, The Saints’ Little Book of Wisdom and Jesus’ Little Book of Wisdom.

Kelly Anne Leahy graduated from Villanova University in 2014. During her time studying in the Humanities Department, she read C. S. Lewis’ works and was profoundly impacted by his ability to convey truth in a manner that is simultaneously imaginative and direct. Lewis’ ideas encouraged her interest in the moral imagination in literature, leading to a fellowship studying this concept at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal in Mecosta, Michigan, U.S.A. Kelly Anne currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she works as a professional fundraiser for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. She is the co-compiler of The Saints’ Little Book of Wisdom.
