The Master's Indwelling by Andrew Murray
The Master's Indwelling is a series of thirteen addresses by the South African pastor and devotional writer Andrew Murray (1828–1917), delivered in substance at the Northfield Conference of 1895 and afterward rewritten and revised by the author for this permanent edition, first published in 1896 by Fleming H. Revell Company. Murray traces the believer's path from a carnal, self-governed Christian life into the rest of entire surrender and the abiding, indwelling presence of Christ by His Spirit — moving through waiting on God, the death of the self-life, the joy of the Holy Ghost, and the triumph of a faith that rests wholly on Christ, until, as the closing address puts it, God may be all in all.
