The goal of UECF Sunday School is to nourish the children in the scriptures and inculcate the love and hunger for the Lord right from a young age.
This is done through Biblical teaching and exemplary lifestyle of the teaching staff.
Children are also taught songs, drama, scripture memorization and are encouraged to ask questions.
UECF Sunday school is divided into mainly 2 age groups and sometimes based on the available resources 3 classes.
Less than 5 years old and kids older than 5 are the main subdivisions, this is again divided between less than 5, between 6 and 10 and greater than 10 based on the available resources.
Children < 5years are taught by Emily Myla, Saritha Pilli, Sunitha Saripalli and Evelyn Dundi
Children > 5 years are taught by Susan Bushi, Udaya Pulipati and Louis Dundi
Some of the activities in the past 2 years that the children have presented or been part of in the past 2 years and the planned activities for the following year are.
UECF Children’s Christmas – Typically celebrated one week before Christmas during which the children present their special talents to glorify God and also have done a Skit conveying the Good News – Birth of Christ. The Children are also given gifts during this time to signify the Gift that God has given to us – His Son.
Caroling – The Children have taken active part in the Caroling during Christmas time.
Others – UECF Sunday School Children have presented praise songs and other drama to the congregation on other occasions and also during Easter, Palm Sunday.
Missions Visit – UECF SS have visited and presented the Good News and gifts to other organizations and are planning to do so this year.
Children Fun Day – Planning to Host ONE DAY outdoor fun activity with games, food and scripture lesson for UECF Sunday School children in the summer.
