Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This letter is in response to my phone call to you. Here is some biographical information about my wife and I.
I was saved on April 27, 1986 at the age of 35 as a result of relatives witnessing to me. Jo-Ann was saved about a year prior to this but was not attending a Bible preaching, teaching church. Because of this, she had no growth in her Christian life until we attended Heritage Baptist Church in West Orange, NJ, later to become First Baptist Church of Caldwell under the leadership of Pastor David Bulka. I grew up as a Roman Catholic, while Jo-Ann had a Methodist upbringing.
After a period of growing in the Lord we began to be involved in church ministries. Over the years, I have been involved in Saturday soul winning / visitation, van ministry, teaching Sunday School, Sunday School Superintendent, Junior Church, VBS, usher, nursing home / rescue mission ministries, pulpit supply, as well as being a Deacon / Trustee. Jo-Ann has taught Sunday School and has been involved in Junior Church as well.
I was ordained as a Pastor in July of 2003. On January 5, 2005 we were approved to be missionaries with Amazing Grace Mission of Dayton, TN. I had been helping the mission on a volunteer basis for approximately 10 years prior. Over the last few years, I also have been helping church planters in NJ. We have 4 grown children.
