Dear Ms. Fisher,
I have met with the Dhara family today in conjunction with the recent incident at school involving Emmanuel’s comment about killing himself.
I have spent some time with Emmanuel this morning on a one-to-one basis to ascertain the validity and seriousness of his statement. It is my opinion that the comment was made due to an exacerbated situation from an isolated incident that does not stem from any long standing or premeditated thinking. Additionally I believe that Emmanuel is not a threat to himself. However, it will be helpful to Emmanuel and the family to seek and be in family counseling and therapy for the foreseeable future.
If I can be of further assistance, I will be happy to help in any way.
