Dear NHS,
It gives me great pleasure in providing this letter of recommendation for Angelica Vellore towards membership in the Biotechnology High School Chapter of the National Honor Society.
I have known Angelica and her family for over ten years in my capacity as the Senior Pastor of the United Evangelical Christian Fellowship (UECF). In my years of association with Angelica, I have found her to be a deeply devout and committed person of Faith. This Faith is translated into faithful support and participation in our Children’s programs in their overall growth. Angelica models for the younger children by her personal example. She has been a leader in the JBQ (Bible Quiz Program) for younger children and the TBQ (Teens Bible Quiz Program) which requires strong motivation, discipline, and commitment. She has excelled in these programs as a participant as well as a Coach. She is also gifted with musical abilities and uses her talents to enrich and edify others. Angelica is a recognized scholar with her academic achievements. All through her illustrious student career, she has maintained straight A+ grades. In the 8th grade she won the prestigious Math award. She is pursuing her education in Biology, Neurology and Chemistry. She will make a significant contribution in this medical-scientific field in the years ahead. She was elected and served well as vice-President in School. She earned the Star Award for Caring for fellow students. Besides, she is active in the Arts/Culture field as a creative Painter. It has been a real joy knowing Angelica and I know that she will be a shining light wherever she is and a guiding light for people around her.
