About Bishop Stanley E. Downes

Stanley E. Downes was born, educated and served in India. His parents ministered in Dehra Dun, India for over fifty five years.

After graduating from Mussoorie, he joined the then Royal Indian Navy; while under Naval training in Bombay, he was converted in Bowen Methodist Church and felt deeply called of God to the ministry of Methodist Church.
