Protect our going out and our coming in;

LEADER: Bless the living room, O God. Let Joshua and Kavitha and their children
Maliha and Mayah share the hospitality of this home with all who
visit; that those who enter here may know your love and peace.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
LEADER: Bless the kitchen and the Dining room O God. You fill the hungry with good things.
Send your blessing on this family as they work in the kitchen and eat in the dining room.
Make them ever thankful for their daily bread as they dine in
your grace.

BEDROOM/S
LEADER: Bless each bedroom, O God. Protect each person in this
family. Watch over them as they sleep, that they may rest in
Christ’s peace and find refreshment and renewal.

Prayer of Blessing of each room, beginning with the entrance door. (Different guests will be invited to offer prayers)
Housewarming Blessing In A Basket(These gifts may be kept ready and presented by family/friends)
The following seven items/gifts may be presented to the family:
Bible – The Word of God is “A lamp to our feet and a light to our path”
Flowers - Flowers reflect beauty and fragrance, may your house always know and reflect “the aroma of Christ” and beauty.
Fruit – These fruit are given as a sign of the blessings of fruitfulness from God. (Galatians 5 22-23)
A loaf of bread - Bread is given so your house may never know hunger.
A container of salt - Salt so it may always add flavor to your lives.
A candle - A candle so the house will never know darkness and that you may radiate the light of Jesus.
A container of sugar - Sugar so that life will always be sweet.
