About Rev. David Mannon
David Mannon was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to New Jersey ten years ago with his wife, Kathy. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was ten years old. It was the most significant decision of his life. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis in 1992. When he heard God’s call to full-time ministry, he made a campus visit to Columbia International University in South Carolina. God made it clear to him within days of his visit that it was His plan for him to go to school there. David realized the fullness of God’s good plan when he met Kathy, a beautiful and talented first-year graduate student from Audubon, New Jersey. This unlikely couple was married in 1997. David graduated in 1999 with a master’s degree in church leadership. After one year as a youth pastor at a church in Augusta, GA, they moved to Kathy’s home state and became involved in ministry at Immanuel Bible Church. David served there as an associate pastor for seven years. During that time, they never lost their passion for world missions which was cultivated at Columbia. They were appointed as campus staff with International Students Inc. in July, 2008. Once their full support is raised, David will be serving as the ISI campus director at Rutgers University(New Brunswick). God has also blessed them with three beautiful children, Luke(age 8) and Maggie(age 5 1/2) and their latest addition, Shelby, who was born in May, 2010.
