Bro. Edgar Sathuluri is a teacher cum evangelist and the founder of NATIVE (Nationals Training Institute for Village Evangelism), which has a mission of winning souls, making disciples and planting churches. NATIVE has more than 17000 workers ministering in 15 Indian states and 2 neighboring countries, planting hundreds of churches and carrying the gospel to thousands of people.

He had a successful secular career, until a major illness over 36 yrs. ago, left him bedridden for three months. During this time, he received a calling from God and decided to surrender his life to fulltime ministry. He received his initial training from campus crusade for Christ in New Zealand and later at the Stephen Olford Centre for biblical preaching. He later went on to start NATIVE in order to create disciples for Christ who would lead many others to Him. His other ministry involved working as an interpreter for Bro. Ravi Zacharias and Rev. Billy Graham for their crusades in India and for other prominent national and international preachers.

In the year 2000, he suffered a major stroke (hemorrhage in the left brain) while undergoing heart procedure in USA which left him paralyzed in the right side. But this major setback was not a deterrent for him, and he continues to serve the Lord with the same fervor as he did when he started. He continues to travel extensively both in India and internationally and take the Lord’s gospel to where

there is a need.
