*Opening Prayer(in unison): Eternal origin of life and light, our loving heavenly Father, we draw near to You with joy in our hearts and praise on our lips and a sense of the goodness of Your presence. We also come in faith that declares that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

Program Details

We come realizing that we are Your handiwork, that the life we now have is Your gift to us. Lift our thoughts from the littleness of our own works to the greatness of Your majesty, wonder, power and unending love. Grant that we may so think of Your glory that we may grow into Your likeness. Teach us the meaning of grace, that it is to love in the presence of hatred, to forgive in the face of slander, to celebrate life even in death, to be bearers of light in a world often filled with darkness. We pray and sincerely seek the fulfillment of Your purpose in our lives, encourage us never to yield to lesser goals. Keep our minds on the prize of the high calling of Christ. Let Your spirit help us to engage the world so that we may leave it a little better than we found it.

Before You now we bow in humility, surrendering our hearts, committing our way to Your leading, we are ready to discover the joy of doing Your will, and serve You through Christ we pray. Amen!
