Leader: Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we come this evening as we have done so many times before. Let us pause and ask ourselves why? It is because of his eternal covenant. We are reminded to draw near to Him in faith. ‘Because Your loving kindness is better than life’ I will praise the Lord. Amen!

People: Our loving Father, You are the true hope for all those who seek You sincerely. You are the strength in our weakness; You are an ever present help in times of trouble. As we draw near in faith, lead us to a living faith and speak Your Word clearly to us, give us the spirit of humility and readiness. Let Your generous grace and mercy fill our hearts with love. Amen!

*Opening Prayer(in unison): In this blessed hour of worship, O Father, we come in faith that You will meet us here. We need Your guidance in this rapidly changing world. We need Your strength for our daily walk with You. We are weak, we are conditioned by our environment, and peer pressure. We confess that we have bought into the values of the world; we have put self before spirit and faith. Please visit us with forgiveness. We need wisdom that comes from Your Word and help to apply Your Word. Teach us to hide Your Word in our hearts and use it often. Let Your Word help us grow in understanding. We need Your wisdom and compassion to meet the struggles we share with others on this journey of faith. As we come with our needs meet us with the abundance of Your power, then send us forth to meet the world renewed, restored and ready to live faithfully for the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!
