Rev. Joseph Nandna Vara Kumar Lam

Rev. Joseph N. Vara Kumar Lam has been in the ministry for over 16 years, serving different congregations within Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC). His father, Rev. Charles Lam served as a pastor in the AELC and held various positions. Rev. Joseph Lam was an answered prayer to his parents after 20 years of their married life. Though he was offered secular jobs immediately after his post-graduation, he chose to serve God, and got admission into Theological Seminary. In the year 2000, he was graduated from Andhra Christian Theological College (ACTC).

While serving as a Pastor at Kukatpally, he was instrumental in building a beautiful church building for the Lutheran congregation.

With a passion to serve God independently, he started Jesus Blessings Lutheran Church in the year 2013. He is actively involved in the rural ministry and served poor widows, slum children and organized several medical camps.

He also led Holy Land tours and inspired many people to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. He is an itinerant speaker at different churches. Presently, he lives at Kukatpally with his wife, Ratna and daughter, Olveelia and son, Olin Charles.
