Leader: Lord renew our spirit as we worship You today. You are the origin and sustenance of our life; by Your word You strengthen us and by Your presence You lead us. We come seeking the nearness of Jesus our Lord, may he lead us to be all that God intends us to be. Praise the lord!.

People: Holy God, as we gather in Your presence, we long for Your transforming power. Father of mercy, have mercy on us today. Shine the light of Your love into our lives. Be our strength and our helper. Be our guiding light in this world of confusion. Empower us by Your Spirit to love You more and share with each other Your witness and glory. Amen!

*Opening Prayer(in unison): Gracious God, we come into Your presence as we always do because we know in our mind that You are here. We confess that we hear Your call but rarely listen to Your voice, we sing with enthusiasm but rarely worship, we declare faith but rarely apply it, we know Your Word but rarely use it in day to day lives. We sense You beckining to live with greater compassion and caring and yet we are so surrounded by needs that we have become insensitive to them. Infact we have become immune in many ways. Our faith and our lives are disconnected. We know Your eternal Word but our actions deny Your Lordship. Please forgive us. We pray that the truth we carry in our hearts may translate into action that declares the lordship of Jesus in our lives. May Your Holy Word inspire us to be holy. May Your Spirit bless the work of our hands, make us bold and determined disciples, lead us to speak the truth in love and build Your kingdom without shame, especially in this changing world. Set us free to serve You in serving our fellow human beings. Make a stand for Your Name and Your kingdom. Bless us now and make us a blessing in the name of Jesus our Lord and savior. Amen!
