About Bishop Daniel Kalyanapu

Bishop Daniel D. Kalyanapu was born and raised in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, to Apostle K. R. David and Mrs. Leelamma, pioneers of the Pentecostal movement in India.

In 1985, he planted a church with just two families. Today, by God's grace, that ministry has grown into multiple churches in the city of Warangal with thousands of members, along with hundreds of affiliated churches across India. Throughout his ministry, he has conducted numerous evangelistic crusades, pastors' conferences, leadership seminars, and revival meetings, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Kalyanapu serves as the editor of the Ecclesia monthly magazine in Telugu, has written the lyrics for 134 Telugu Christian songs, and leads worship services that are broadcast live on television. He is the author of 48 books in the Telugu language. His English publications include Oil of Gladness, Beauty for Ashes, and now The Call of Abraham.
