About Rev. Vasanth Peter
Rev. Vasanth Peter is the founder of Shalom Christian Ministries. Their vision is 'Reaching the Unreached and Telling the Untold.' Rev. Vasanth Peter comes from a Christian family. He was in Government service for 25 years and had a wonderful job but was totally away from God. In the year 1995, he was suffered paralytic stroke to his left leg and could not move. He realized that the Lord Jesus Christ can only heal him and sincerely repented for his past sins and pleaded before the throne of grace for mercy to heal him and also promised God that he will quit his job and will serve Him the rest of his life.
The merciful God of healing listened to his prayer and the spirit of the Lord touched him and got healed within 8 days. Today, he is serving the Lord and reaching the remote villages in and around Medak district in Andhra Pradesh.
Caring for Orphans: The Shalom Ministries supports the children of parents who died due to AIDS and other deceases. Currently they have 4 orphan children.
Need:
- To construct a church building at Siddapur village.
- Support the orphan children to cover their daily food, clothing and education.
- Need a diesel vehicle to take Gospel to the interior villages.
- Children home for the orphans.
Vision:
- To plant a Church in every village and keep a resident Pastor there.
- Be a catalytic force in providing basic necessities like church building, mats/carpets, public address system, musical instruments, and lamps/lanterns in the interior villages.
- To implant sound teaching of the Word of God and doctrine by inviting anointed people from body of Christ from all over the world.
