Leader: As the deer longs after clear streams, my soul longs for God’s Spirit, His life giving Word of wisdom. Come people, let us appear before God and declare the longing of our hearts.

People: Holy God, as we gather in Your presence, we long for Your transforming power. Father of mercy, have mercy on us today. Shine the light of Your love into our lives. Be our strength and our helper. Be our guiding light in this world of confusion. Empower us by Your Spirit to love You more and share with each other Your witness and glory. Amen!

*Opening Prayer(in unison): Lord we are here to allow Your Spirit to form us into an assembly that truly is a witness. Although our lives meander through the wilderness of this world, You are patiently molding us into Your image. Many of us are so busy caught up in our own things that we miss out on what You are doing. Forgive us for making insignificant in our transient lives. Forgive us for making all things about us. Help us break free form the values of this world and realize that our citizenship is in heaven. Let that assurance help us live victorious lives. Let our lives tell the story of redemption, let our actions speak of Your lordship; let our thoughts lead to actions that declare the praises of Jesus.

Lord we want to be Your covenant people, we want to get away from all those things that are not of eternal value, we want to glorify Your name and be seen as the children of God in Christ.

Lord we surrender our will, our past, our present and our future to Your control. We pray that You will be exalted in and through our lives. Blessed be the name of Jesus now and forever. Amen!
