Our loving Father, here we are once again to worship You, sing Your praises, remember Your many blessings in our lives, to repent of our misdoings, our errant ways and to receive Your forgiveness and mercy. According to Your promise set us free from the bondage of sin, take over our lives and fill us with Your spirit. As we wait in expectation, allow Your spirit to instruct us, transform our thinking and our way of life so that we may become the people of God. Let our lives become a reflection of the lordship of Christ, help us Lord to get away from the transient things of this world and surrender ourselves to Your will, so that what we are and do becomes an extension of Your words, works and a testimony to your great love. To this end make our time of worship a hallowed hour, bless us and make us a blessing today in Jesus name. Amen!
