Late Mrs. Rohini Ranjit Muthyala
Mrs. Muthyala Rohini Ranjit was born on 30th March 1947 in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh, India to Mr. Stanley and Mrs. Lizie. She was the oldest of the 4 children and sister to Mr. Daniel Stanley, Mrs. Shiela Alexander and Mrs. Pamela Rajamannar.
Mrs. Rohini Rose was married to Mr. M.B. Ranjit on May 16th,1970 in Craig Memorial Baptist Church, Kakinada. The couple were blessed with three sons – Rajiv Theophilus, Stephen Raveendra and Randhir Kamal Muthyala.
Growing up in Kakinada Mrs. Rohini was very close to her siblings. She used to take care of her brother and sisters as her mother was a working single Mom. She was very responsible and caring. Mrs. Rohini was also trained as teacher but she never pursued a career.
Mrs. Rohini was kind-hearted, generous, and believed in doing her part to help others. She was a selfless and service minded daughter and oldest sister. She was a diligent homemaker who loved her family so much that she never had any other interests or hobbies. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother. She was known for her generosity and her interest in cooking and serving others was well known and loved by family and friends. She was a great cook and enjoyed serving all those who frequented her home. She brought people together through her vibrant and cheerful nature.
Mrs. Rohini nurtured and taught the children over the years how to pray earnestly and rely on God for their needs. She always had affirming words whenever they needed encouragement in times of despair. No matter how accomplished, no matter how old, no matter how successful, they were, her sons for whom she prayed and cared fervently. She pursued a lifelong effort to build family connections displaying a character of the highest caliber who represented sensitivity and consideration towards all people, near and far, as well as extraordinary generosity and an unparalleled level of community and family involvement and dedication.
As her children, the other words which come to our mind describing her character, is her uncompromising integrity and honesty which have proven to be among the most important guides for us in our professional and personal lives. She will forever live in our memories and our hearts and we will always be extremely proud to call ourselves her sons.
We will miss you Amma!
Mrs. Rohini’s husband Mr. Muthyala Benjamin Ranjit passed away on 25th October 2023. The couple is blessed with three sons:
Rajiv Theophilus Muthyala, a Banker with Citigroup, NY, is married to Preethi Muthyala and they have a daughter Rithika Sharon and son, Rohan Theophilus
Stephen Raveendra, IPS (Addl. DGP, Telangana), is married to Vineela Muthyala and blessed with a daughter, Reha Rachel
Randhir Muthyala, Architect at Oracle, California, is married to Sushma Muthyala and blessed with twins – Rhea Joanna and Ronit Benjamin
