 Shameela Paul Kuraguntla Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister, 61 Mrs. Shameela Paul (nee Vandanam Gali) Kuraguntla, 61, of Belleville, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Mountainside Hospital. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, June 21 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral home on Saturday, June 22 at 9:15 a.m. The interment will be held privately at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Shameela was born in Mancherial, Andhra Pradesh, India, emigrated to Bloomfield, NJ in 1982 and has resided in Belleville since 2015. She was proud of her Indian heritage, and embraced her adopted country, becoming a U.S. Citizen in 2004. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Andhra Christian College and a Master’s Degree in Literature from Nagarjuna University. Shameela enjoyed working with her colleagues and friends for 28 years at Mountainside Hospital. She loved entertaining friends, BBQing in the backyard with her family, and quiet moments in the garden. Her infectious laugh and kind heart were loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Emmanuel Kuraguntla, her devoted son Daniel Kuraguntla, her loving mother Mary Rose Vandanam Gali, and her loving brothers Sridhar, Sudhir and Suraendar Vandanam Gali. Shameela is predeceased by her father John Aberley Vandanam Gali.
