*Prayer of Confession(in unison):

Loving Father, we so often crowd into Your presence and make demands before You that we have no right to make. But this evening we come with a different spirit, we come desiring to think of Your majesty, Your unfailing love and faithfulness above all your mercy, we come to remember, recount the many blessings You have bestowed upon us,  to express our gratitude and respond to Your Word.

We are thankful for life and all that You have provided for living, for seasons, for resources, for health, for strength, for knowledge, for experience, for wealth, for work, for homes, for friends for family, for the privilege of being here, for faith to hear and apply to Your Word, to our lives. We come praising Your holy name, we come in prayer asking for forgiveness, as always we have forgotten to take our salvation seriously, we have missed the mark of being who You want us to be, and we have failed to be witnesses. We come seeking  freedom from bondage to things and values of this world,  we seek to alter course and traverse the path of righteousness, yes for Your name, come Lord as we bare ourselves before You, fill us with renewed faith, cleansing and the power to be victorious, living testimonies of Your presence. We unite  our hearts and give You glory in the name of Jesus. Amen!
