Jude 1: 1-4 ESV

Song / Hymn

Hymn Lyrics

1 Jude, a servant[a] of Jesus Christ and brother of James,

To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:

2 May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

Judgment on False Teachers

3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:29-30 ESV

29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.

30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

Matthew 7:15 ESV

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

love You, Lord

For Your mercy never fails me

All my days, I've been held in Your hands

From the moment that I wake up

Until I lay my head

Song / Hymn

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

CHORUS

'Cause all my life You have been faithful

And all my life You have been so, so good

With every breath that I am able

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

VERSE 2

I love Your voice

You have led me through the fire

In darkest night

You are close like no other

I've known You as a Father

I've known You as a Friend

And I have lived in the goodness of God

BRIDGE (X2)

Your goodness is running after, it's running after me

Your goodness is running after, it's running after me

With my life laid down, I surrendered now

I give You everything

Your goodness is running after, it's running after me

The XP5 League concluded their season at the District Finals, as only Championship League teams are eligible to advance to regional or national competitions. Throughout most of the season, our church was represented by one XP5 team and two Championship teams. However, toward the end of the season, we needed to consolidate into a single team due to several students being unable to attend consistently because of other commitments and illness.

XP5 League

  • UECF Light Bearers – 2nd Place

Members: Joanna Bollam, Joha Pilli, Lisa Dayala

Championship League

  • UECF Worship Pathfinders – 3rd Place

Members: Ashriel Vellore, Blessy Devi, Sahil Vuppula, Samrudh Ghanta, Viraj Sandela

Additionally, Ashriel Vellore received the Memorization Award for memorizing all the chapters in Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon.

Although our Championship teams earned qualification for the Northeast Regional competition in Albany, NY, they made the thoughtful decision to conclude their season at the District Finals due to school commitments and the additional demands of preparing for regional events.

We are so proud of everything our students accomplished this year. They approached every challenge with determination, humility, and a genuine desire to grow. Their commitment—strengthened and sustained by God’s guidance—has been a powerful example of what faith and hard work can achieve.

As our children continue to grow, both in their spiritual walk and in their academic pursuits we, as a church family, remain committed to standing beside them. It is our joy and responsibility to nurture their gifts, encourage their progress, and support the remarkable potential God has placed within each of them.

We also extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to all parents, volunteers, and the entire UECF Church community for the unwavering support you have shown throughout this season. Your prayers, encouragement, and willingness to step forward whenever needed created a strong foundation that allowed our children to flourish. Because of your dedication, they were able to finish the season on a high note, developing not only their skills, but also their confidence, teamwork, and character. Your partnership has been a blessing, and it has made a meaningful impact on their journey.

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) – National Finals

The Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) National Finals took place from June 11th to 13th at Word of Life Church in Springfield, VA. This year, UECF Church was blessed to send one team of six young champions—children who not only represented our church with excellence, but also reflected a deep love for God’s Word and the vibrant spiritual unity of our community.

Eighty teams from across the Nation gathered for this year’s tournament, creating a beautiful tapestry of young believers eager to grow in Scripture. Thursday opened with registration, team photos, and breakout sessions for children, parents, coaches, and leaders—moments that reminded us how JBQ strengthens not just minds, but families and faith.

For the first time in 50 years, an Individual Tournament was introduced, allowing children to personally demonstrate their Bible knowledge and quizzing skills. We were grateful that three of our children were able to participate in this historic opportunity.

The opening ceremony concluded with a powerful time of praise and worship, setting a spiritual tone for the days ahead. On Friday and Saturday, our young quizzers stepped forward with courage and joy. A new competition structure helped ease the pressure on the children, replacing the previous format that required up to 16 matches in a single day.

JBQ welcomes children from 1st through 6th grade, and this year we especially honor Aaron Vellore, who completes his JBQ journey as he finishes 6th grade. As he prepares to enter 7th grade in the fall of 2026, we pray that God continues to lead him—strengthening both his academic path and his spiritual walk.

We praise God for the way JBQ has shaped our children—teaching them to learn, love, and live out Scripture with enthusiasm and humility.

🏆 National Finals Team Ranking

UECF Slingshot Warriors – Level 4 – 4th Place

Team Members: Aaron Vellore, Adarsh Gatala, Caleb Justin Gummadi, Jacob Isaiah Gummadi, Joshua Bollam, and Mayah Shaik

Our children performed exceptionally well this year, showing noticeable growth compared to previous seasons, especially when looking at their winning percentage. They secured the same number of victories on both Friday and Saturday as the top teams in the group during the group matches. However, we finished 4th in the group stages due to average points, the team’s overall performance reflected tremendous progress, hard work, and resilience.

Individual Tournament

Mayah Shaik displayed wonderful determination—she won four rounds and gracefully concluded her journey in the fifth round, just shy of reaching the finals.

Adarsh Gatala and Jacob Isaiah Gummadi each secured three strong wins and finished their run in the fourth round, showing great skill and perseverance throughout the competition.

Rest of the three kids could not participate for different reasons.

Below are UECF’s seasonal standings from the District and Regional Finals, including all UECF children who participated in the JBQ season, as well as the Achievers team, who qualified for Nationals but did not participate.

We celebrate the hard work of our kids, the steadfast commitment of their families, and the unity of our church community.

May the Lord continue to bless each child—guiding them as they grow in faith, deepen their knowledge of Scripture, and use their God-given gifts for His glory.
