*RESPONSIVE READING: Psalm 33:1–12
CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER
Holy God our loving father, we praise you for who you are. You are sovereign, eternal, the origin and end of us all. You also sustain us by the power of your word, and supplement with your work in our lives. We also praise you for you are merciful, steadfastly loving, and concerned with every details of our lives. You have also become one of us through Jesus with whom we have redemption and access to your holy presence. We are indeed unworthy of your goodness. Yet, you give us the place of honor in creation to be able to call upon your holy name and come before you just as we are.
We come seeking the newness of life and the desire to serve you with all our hearts. We bare ourselves before you, and invite you to come and take control of our lives. In every aspect, we pray that you would be in control. We ask that you will be with us and encourage us with your holy word, that you will display your awesome deeds in our midst. Fulfill our heart’s desire as we look unto your grace and delight in your word.
Be exalted O God through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen !
