Heavenly Father, so often we compare our lives to others as we try to feel that we are better than they are, and we ignore the standard You set for us on the cross. Too often, like the Pharisees, our prayers are full of pride instead of the true humility that befits forgiven sinners. Forgive us, Lord, and help us to celebrate Your grace by loving each other. In Christ name we pray. Amen!
